Hey, all. I'm Jacob (or frogz2007. doesn't matter to me! haha) and I've been playing the Sims series since 2007.

I had started off with the console version of Sims 2 and never knew of the PC version (or at least much. I had heard about it but I heard it was "stupid' since you had to click on stuff). In 2013 I got the PC version and went into it expecting a direct port of the console version. Boy was I wrong! I got hooked immediately.

I've always been interested in game development and how games gradually change over time as the developers work on it. When I learned about the absolutely fascinating development history of Sims 2, I had, like an idiot, made a topic about one of the cut features on ModTheSims, another Simmer-site. To put it lightly: I made a fool out of myself and I regret it every day. I've since apologized and have moved on past that horrible mistake...

Going back to the game's development history: I did a lot of guesswork and speculation on what I personally believe went down when Maxis was rigorously working on it. I'll attach a link to a topic in where I did a huge write-up, for the curious Smile

As for my interests: I pretty much live and breathe computer related stuff. I love to do audio source separation (removing / isolating stuff from recordings, such as the vocals from a song, etc..) and I occasionally remix and remake music tracks.

That's all for now Smile I look forward to being active in this community.
